OVERVIEW
The Executive Assistant Diploma Program builds on the Office Administration Certificate Program, providing advanced training in office management, administrative and professional skills, and the use of computer technology. Learners will enhance their communication and organizational abilities, network with professionals in the field, and prepare for a wide range of careers in diverse business environments.
After successfully completing the Office Administration Assistant Program, students will continue to develop administrative and professional skills, work with computer technology, network with professionals in the field, and prepare for a wide range of careers within the business world.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- BC Grade 11 or equivalent (Grade 12 graduation preferred), or Mature Student status;
- Completion of Office Administration Assistant Certificate Program;
- English 12, or ENGL 060, or equivalent;

Math 057;
-
any Advanced level ABE Mathematics, or any Mathematics 11 or assessed equivalent;
- Keyboarding Speed of 30 words per minute.

CAREER PATHWAYS
Upon graduation, your career path may lead you to employment in a wide variety of places, including public service offices, not-for-profit organizations, and private businesses. Positions for employment will be Administration Clerk, Office Coordinator, Office Administrator, Executive Secretary, and Assistant to Senior Executives or Management.
