Scholarship
Monetary recognition of students who demonstrate academic excellence in their program of study. Adjudication is based on academic merit.
Bursary
Non-repayable financial support for students who demonstrate financial need.
Entrance Awards
Monetary recognition of academic or extracurricular meritorious accomplishment based on a competitive assessment. Unless otherwise stated, recipients must be enrolled full-time and have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.00 in their most recent studies. The deadline for most Entrance Award applications is August 15th. These awards are dispersed in September of every year.
Year-End Internal Awards
Monetary recognition of academic or extracurricular meritorious accomplishment based on a competitive assessment. Unless otherwise stated, recipients must be enrolled full-time and have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.00 in their most recent full-time semester. The deadline for most Year End Internal Award applications is March 31st. These Awards are dispersed in June of every year.
External Award
Monetary recognition of academic or extracurricular meritorious accomplishment based on a competitive assessment. These awards and their criteria are not governed by NVIT. Unless otherwise stated, recipients generally must be enrolled full-time and have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.00 in their most recent full-time semester.
