The Construction Trades Sampler is a 14-week (420-hour) program offering hands-on training in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, empowering individuals through culturally integrated education to pursue fulfilling careers and contribute to the well-being of their community.
The Construction Trades Sampler is a 14-week (420 hour) program designed to offer learners a hands-on opportunity to gain a basic understanding of three common construction trades:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Electrical
The program is a transformative initiative designed to empower Community by providing comprehensive training and exposure to various trades that are essential in the construction industry. This program aims to cultivate skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and essential workforce skills.
The Construction Trades Sampler program empowers individuals to overcome barriers, pursue fulfilling careers, and contribute to the prosperity of Community. Investing in education and training can develop a skilled workforce rooted in self-determination.
The program provides skills and training in a culturally safe paradigm within Indigenous contexts that celebrates and preserves Indigenous culture and traditions.
