NVIT's Nadut'en Community Leadership Program
supports Lake Babine Nation's (LBN) vision to
offer high-quality post-secondary community
education and training opportunities that allow
their learners to acquire the education they need
to pursue fulfilling employment. Post-secondary
education and training will also support LBN's
development of a workforce that can seize emerging
opportunities in their own governments and
businesses.
This program further supports LBN's exercise of
jurisdiction over their education and language
programming, in alignment with the United Nations
Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples
(UNDRIP) and the Calls to Action in the Truth and
Reconciliation Commission's (TRC) 2015 Report.
