Job Description:

NVIT, in conjunction with Aboriginal Skills Employment & Training Strategy (ASETS) anticipates a requirement for a casual student worker to assist in the Library at the Merritt campus, during the summer of 2020. This is a 15-week position from May 25th – September 4th, 2020.

Job Description

The student will assist the Librarian  and Library Coordinator with day to day library operations as well as various tasks including:  Customer Service, Office Admin, Data Management and other Technology-Related tasks.



Requirements/Qualifications:

  • must be Indigenous and returning to school in September, 2020

  • demonstrated ability to work and problem-solve independently and to work well within a team;

  • knowledge of Indigenous culture.
