Job Description:

NVIT anticipates a requirement for an individual or individuals to develop curricula for 8 Renewable Energy courses for a new Renewable Energy Certificate Program. The completion date for this project is December 2019. 

Position Summary:

In consultation with the Dean, the successful candidate(s) will:

  •      develop curricula for assigned courses
  •      review and consider transferability and suitability of new courses
  •      work with administration to obtain program approval through Education Council
  •      periodically meet with the Dean to discuss progress
  •      curricula must be presented in the NVIT approved course outline format
  •      delivered in an approved electronic format to NVIT at completion of the agreement


  • Possess a minimum of a Masters degree in related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Have experience developing courses

  • Have post-secondary teaching experience

  • Have knowledge of classroom teaching and learning practices

  • Knowledge of Aboriginal culture is mandatory
