Job Description:

NVIT anticipates the need for term instructors to teach within the Office Administration Certificate & Diploma Programs at the Merritt campus. The certificate program is intended for people wanting to upgrade their office skills for certification and for those looking for entry-level positions in the office workplace. The diploma program is designed to provide training in office management. NVIT invites applications from qualified individuals.

* Note that instructors assigned to teach three or more courses in a term are placed on the faculty salary scale and not paid the term rate indicated above.

- possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or have equivalent training and experience;

- post secondary teaching experience preferably with Aboriginal adult learners;

- extensive computer systems experience with a high level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite;

- strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;

- ability to work and problem solve independently: and

- a demonstrated understanding of Indigenous ways of knowing.
