Job Description: NVIT anticipates a requirement for Term Instructors to teach the following courses in conjunction with Lax Kw'alaams First Nations, courses will be delivered in a hybrid format. NVIT invites applications from qualified individuals. September, 2025 – June, 2026 (Exact dates TBA) INST 050 - Indigenous Studies I INST 060 - Indigenous Studies II MATH 055 - Intro to Algebra II MATH 040 - ALFM Level V & VI MATH 041 - Introductory Algebra I MATH 057 - Intermediate Algebra I ENGL 040 - Reading Comprehension ENGL 050 - Writing Skills ENGL 060 - Literature and Composition STSC 101 - Strategies for Success Please indicate which courses you are interested and qualified to teach. Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or have equivalent training and experience; Post-secondary teaching experience with Aboriginal adult learners is preferred; Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; Ability to work and problem-solve independently; Knowledge of Indigenous history and cultures.
