With COVID-19 protocols in place, this year's classes will be very unique. Our learners will have the option to attend their classes either face-to-face or online. Classroom sizes will be dependent on the classroom capacity. However, some of our programs will require face-to-face interaction. Learners are requested to connect with their faculty in order to determine their individual mode of delivery along with discussing what kind of equipment and supports that may be required.
Please note: In case of an outbreak, faculty and learners must remain prepared to transition to learning fully online.
Our hybrid delivery will include some face-to-face and some online learning.
All alternate delivery classes will be live classes.
Some NVIT programs will require face-to-face components that cannot be offered in a virtual format (labs, field trips, practicum preparation, skills training) and may be in a hybrid environment with partially online courses. This includes the following programs: Access to Practical Nursing Diploma (APNS), Environmental Resources Technology Certificate and Diploma (ENRT), Health Care Assistant Certificate (HTCA) and Renewable Energies Technology (RNET).
Depending on the program, learners may have the option to learn completely online. Please reach out to enrolment services prior to September 8th, 2020.
