This course builds on Nle?kepmx Language Immersion where students will expand on elements of the oral immersion learning tools and communication phrases for use. Students will gain experience hearing different fluent speakers of each Nle?kepmx speaking community with the intent of increasing usage and vocabulary. Students will form a Mentor pod process as a cohort of advanced immersion learners moving from one community of fluent speakers to another. Students will assist to organize within their own community the immersion event with the fluent speakers.

Learning Outcomes:
|
Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to:
- demonstrate improved Nłeʔkepmx language use while immersed with Mentor pod speakers;
- demonstrate an understanding of the different dialects of the Mentor pod Elder fluent speakers;
- apply immersion skills with Nłeʔkepmx language Mentor speakers sharing daily-life routines and daily life conversation; and
- apply immersion skills with Nłeʔkepmx language Mentor speakers contextualized in special topics.
