Off-Campus Housing Listing

Introduction

NVIT is providing a service to list information about Off-Campus Housing for its students.

Note that this listing service operates like a classified ad section in a newspaper. We do not inspect units listed and we do not interview landlords.

Information contained in this listing will be updated Monday through Friday as listings are submitted by Landlords (or their agents) or as noted in local newspaper. Listings will be posted on the NVIT website and on bulletin boards at NVIT.

For Listings found in the Merritt Morning Market, scroll to the bottom of the page.

Landlord or agents wishing to list Merritt and area rental accommodation on NVIT's website should contact:

Jen Narcisse
250-378-3336
jnarcisse@nvit.bc.ca

Tenant Responsibility

We strongly recommend that students view the accommodation they are interested in and meet the prospective landlord before they make any form of payment to secure the facilities. Questions and issues surrounding damage deposits, use of facilities etc. should be discussed with the landlord and, wherever possible, written in the form of an Agreement.

While apartments and self contained suites fall under the Residential Tenancy Act guidelines, room rentals, room and board, and shared accommodations are not protected by the Act. Renter beware!

NVIT accepts no responsibility for any arrangement made between Tenants and Landlords.
