WRITING AWARDS

Since April 2006, NVIT has been offering three awards for Aboriginal writers in attendance at NVIT:

     Poetry
     Creative Fiction
     Research Writing

These works will have been submitted to an Instructor at NVIT as part of the expectations of course completion. All should come with the instructor's comments and/or grading.

It is expected that we will have at least two annual awards of $250 each, at least one of which will be given to a person of Aboriginal ancestry.

The 2008 winners were Mabel Nipshank and Allan Lindley.
