Awards like scholarships or bursaries and grants do not have to be repaid. Some awards require you to demonstrate financial need, while others recognize academic achievements, community involvement or other accomplishments. Please see a Financial and Academic Planner for details.

NVIT hosts a variety of internal awards open only to NVIT students and many external awards available to all students at various institutions in the province. We are very appreciative of and acknowledge the generosity of our continuous supporters. To our second year Students: 

Transferring to another BC institution to complete your degree next year? Be sure to apply for a $5,000 Irving K. Barber Transfer Scholarship. Up to 100 scholarships of $5,000 each will be awarded in 2011 to second-year BC transfer students. You could be one of them! Apply before March 31.
